Everworks would like to bring your attention to a network upgrade maintenance exercise to be carried out by Malaysia Internet Exchange (MYIX), which objective is to upgrade MyIX core network from 40G to 100G from 15th September to 30th September 2016.
The details of the maintenance are as follow: -
Brief Description:
MYIX advised that the upgrade will be carried in two phases.
Phase 1 – Upgrade of existing Brocade (management modules and client modules) in AIMS (KL) and TM node (Cyberjaya) from 15/9/2016 to 23/9/2016 MYT (GMT +8:00).
Phase 2 – Migrate DWDM from CISCO (capacity 40G) to Huawei platform (capacity 100G). The exact date will be advised soon.
The particulars of the maintenance services that directly impact Everworks MYIX link (swapping of physical cable) are as follows:

Service Impact:
1. During cable swapping of MYIX link, there will be downtime as stated above.
2. During the cable swapping of other MYIX member's link, there will be intermittent service interruption, during the two days mentioned above.
