How to Use WinMTR To Diagnostic a Slow Internet Connection in Windows

If your Office Broadband connection has stopped working, email cannot be send or receive is slower than expected or has an intermittent connection, here is the step by step guide will help you fix.

You can use WinMTR to run traceroute and ping on a domain with a single tool. WinMTR is free available in 32 bit and 64 bit editions and is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

How to Use WinMTR

To run a traceroute or ping on a domain using WinMTR:

  1. Open WinMTR.
  2. In the Host field, type the domain name or IP of the host (e.g. yourdomain.com or 202.76.238.62).
  3. Push Start and wait.
  4. Please submit a ticket with attach a Screenshot, NotePad or WordPad of your results to our Support department along with the details of your problem.
